You will be responsible for selling state-of-the-art building automation and control systems and will use your experience to build long-term customer relationships and develop effective solutions for projects in the market. Together with your team colleagues, you will act as a Sales Specialist and handle your sales territory and assigned customers.

You will also advise key customers as well as planners and provide technical support both in “pre-sales” and during commissioning in terms of first level support.

In doing so, you will work closely with local colleagues from Marketing and the attached networked units, shining with your excellent German and English.

Your responsibilities

Increase sales volume and margins

Building customer relationships by identifying customer needs

Developing solutions using our extensive ABB portfolio

Preparing sales plans together with marketing and other departments

Preparation of tender offers and their follow-up

Identifying and building new business areas

Monitoring customer and market trends

Implementing marketing activities in cooperation with the marketing team

Your background

Successful studies in electrical engineering or technical training with further training as a master craftsman / technician.

Proven market knowledge and sound technical knowledge on the topics of measurement, control and regulation technology

Knowledge of solutions with BACnet, M-Bus, Modbus, KNX or IP, the ability to prepare these in a customer-oriented or

project-related and to present them adequately

Fluent English and good German

High willingness to travel
